Edoardo as the AI "Ray" in FX's A Murder at the End of the World
Known for his roles as junkie "Corky Caporale" on The Sopranos (HBO), Ignatius D'Alessio in Boardwalk Empire (HBO), and as the star chef in the indie classic Dinner Rush, Edoardo has appeared in over 50 films and tv shows, including a series regular role in the critically acclaimed Quarry (HBO), and recurring roles in 24 (Fox) and Elementary (CBS), and a memorable turn on Ripper Street (BBC). Film credits include Experimenter opposite Peter Sarsgaard and Winona Ryder, First We Take Brooklyn opposite Harvey Keitel, No God, No Master, opposite David Strathairn and the blockbuster Romeo Must Die, among others.
In the mid 2010's, following the birth of his children, Edoardo moved his career full time into the field of audiobook narration, where he established himself as one of the industry's brightest stars. He had no definite plans to return to the world of film & tv, but when Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij tapped him for the role of the AI "Ray" in A Murder at the End of the World, it was an opportunity not to be turned down.
Edoardo is also the writer, director and star of the short film Good Night Valentino, that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and later screened at The Museum of Modern Art. Edoardo plays silent film icon Rudolph Valentino. A print of the film is part of the permanent archive of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Hollywood.
He is a graduate of Wesleyan University and lives in New York.
